The anticipation is building as the 2024 Grand National at Aintree countdown draws closer. With the race set to take place on April 13th, the excitement is palpable as the contender’s field is gradually narrowing down.
This year, 51 horses have been declared for the iconic race, with the final lineup of 34 to be revealed on Thursday, April 11th. Among the notable withdrawals are Asterion Forlonge, James Du Berlais, and Threeunderthrufive. Additionally, top-weighted Hewick has redirected his efforts to the Aintree Bowl.
Last year’s champion, Corach Rambler, leads the betting market with odds around 5/1, closely followed by Willie Mullins’s I Am Maximus at 7/1 and Vanillier at 9/1. Let the sports betting begin!
